Fun was had by all at this year's event. The day provided an excellent opportunity for the many agencies and services that attended to engage with parents and pass on information about what help and support is available for families in the borough.

Parents will be able to see how well schools are performing through a new website.

The Information Service for Parents is a joint initiative by the NHS, Department of Health and Department for Education. The aim is to make it easier for parents-to-be and mums and dads to access reliable information about pregnancy and bringing up a healthy child.

The launch of ‘Bridgend Plays Up’ play network was a success, thank you to everyone who attended! There are only two network sessions left prior to the summer so please make the most of it! The next session is on the 14th of June so “Don’t get tied up in knots!”

The Active Young People's Department have developed the DIsability Sports Programme.

Bridgend County Borough is re-launching their play network!! The network will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills, knowledge and awareness of upcoming events.

Pupil Voice Wales is for teachers, senior leaders, governors, children and young people. It contains information, training material and examples of good practice to help you make sure that all pupils in your school have the chance to take part in making decisions about their learning and their school community.
