Bridgend Youth Inclusion Support Panel (YISP)

WHAT IS THE YOUTH INCLUSION AND SUPPORT PANEL?

We work with Young people aged 8-14 and their families, agencies across the country, education, health, housing, community safety and voluntary sector.

We can help with such issues as problems at school, problems in the neighbourhood, difficulties in controlling young people's behaviour, drugs and alcohol issues and much more.

We offer support and enable access to one to one work, mentoring, group work, parent support, counseling, educational support and more.

We aim to provide a co-ordinated approach of support to young people and their families, to help tackle problems and ensure access to local services.

We aim to encourage socially acceptable behaviour, encourage school attendance, reduce school exclusion and provide support to families to encourage productive family relationships.

Working with YISP is totally voluntary ensuring that involvement is inclusive, informed and productive.
