TALKING TOTS
Talking Tots classes are aimed at pre-school children from 12 months onwards. There is 10 minutes of free play on arrival for the children to settle and the parents to chat. The structured part of the classes runs for approximately 40-45 min.
The Speech Sprites (1 - 2 years) class looks at foundation language skills such as turntaking, listening, attention and vocabulary building. There's lots of fun & action packed structured games with super props, and lots of singing and rhymes.
The Speech Sprinters (2 - 3 years) class focuses on important skills such as auditory memory, semantics (word building and storing), as well as turntaking, listening and attention. There's lots of fun and games with super props, singing and rhymes.
The Speech Sparklers (3 - 4 years) class is also packed with lots of fun. The main focus in this pre school year is on pre literacy skills ; ready for reading & writing. Letter knowlwdge and good phonological awareness are two of the strongest predictors of later reading success. The children learn through fun and games activities.
Tuesday 9th September and every week until 21st October, Sprites calss 1.15pm at the Med Lounge Broadlands Bridgend CF31 5EJ
Thursday 9th September and every week until 23rd October Sprinters class 11.15am at Nolton Hall, St Mary's Church, Merthyr Mawr Road, Bridgend CF31 3NH.
