Fun was had by all who visited the Family Information Service's 'Royal Themed' Fun Day held during the Easter Holiday at the Bridgend Recreation Centre.

Bookstart in Bridgend is 10 years old. Over 20,000 Bookstart bags with free books have been given to the parents of babies and toddlers when they attend clinics for health checks. The Family Fund helps families with severely disabled children to have choices and the opportunity to enjoy ordinary life. The Family Fund gives grants for things that make life easier and more enjoyable for the disabled child and their family, such as washing machines, driving lessons, hospital visiting costs, computers and holidays.
