New recruitment agency has recently opened in Bridgend to help both settings looking for childcare workers and childcare workers look for vacancies.

Our Annual Exhibition & Fun Day took place at the Bridgend Recreation Centre on Thursday 8th April. This year's theme was ‘Disney’. Organisers and stand holders along with many of the children dressed up as favourite Disney characters to add to the fun.

The Welsh Assembly Government has published guidance on Good Practice for the provision of services for Children and Younger People who use or Misuse Substances in Wales which identifies that 'substance misuse in children and young people presents a major public health challenge.'

Bookstart in Bridgend is 10 years old. Over 20,000 Bookstart bags with free books have been given to the parents of babies and toddlers when they attend clinics for health checks.
