Bridgend Youth Reading Squad

Are you aged 12 – 25 years?

Do you love reading books?

Bridgend County Borough Council’s Arts & Culture Service would like to hear from you. From November, Bridgend Youth Reading Squad Book Clubs for people aged 12 -25 years will be introduced in libraries throughout the county borough.

Supported by Bridgend Library Service, this new opportunity will enable young people to learn more about the creative process of literature and poetry by meeting each month to discuss a chosen book on a reading list which will include exciting and innovative authors Neil Gainan, Jenny Valentine and Patricia Ness.

All books on the reading list will be available to loan from your local library, all you will have to do is become a member.
