Community Legal Service Direct is a free, independent and confidential government funded advice service.
They give independent advice over the phone to people who live on a low income or benefits about debt, education, benefits and tax credits, employment and housing problems. The service is available Monday to Friday, 9am - 6.30pm

Please telephone 0845 345 4345 for free independent advice. Calls cost no more than 4p per minute from a BT landline but calls from mobiles are usually more. If a caller is worried about the cost they can ask an adviser to call them back.
